Defenseman Kristofer Berglund, 20 years old, is picked for the swedish National Team. They will two games against Norway april 3 and 5 in Halden. Berglund is the first player in Sweden since Henrik Zetterberg who will play in the National Team and have never played in the swedish Eliteleague

Defenseman Ricard Persson won the championship in Japan when his Oji Team beat Nippon Cranes with 3-0 in games in the Final best of 5. Persson has now won the championship in 4 countrys. Before this in Japan he has won with Malmo/Sweden, Albany/AHL in USA and Eisbaren Berlin/Germany. Have any other swedish player or coach won the championship in so many countrys ?
